About Sonia
Sonia is committed to the well-being of the Ottawa community through high-quality, compassionate foot and lower limb care services with a focus on a whole of client care approach. Sonia has amazed extensive clinical expertise in diverse age groups and backgrounds, specialized in training infection control, is proficient in diabetes care and education and holds a strong work ethic and collaborative spirit commitment to continuous professional development.
Her client-centric approach emphasizes safety with PPE and enhanced sanitation protocols with a focus on preventive care and positive client experiences. Sonia is an entrepreneur and owns her foot and lower limb care practice servicing the Ottawa area and has joined the Feet for Life School of Podortho Foot Specialists education team.
She looks forward to mentoring health care provider students to obtain post graduate education and clinical training through a comprehensive practicum placement ensuring all her students obtain the advanced competencies that meet the standards of practice congruent with the Ontario Foot Care Association guidelines. Sonia ensures her students complete there placement with confidence to meet the advanced skills and knowledge required to perform quality foot and lower limb care within our communities across Ontario, Canada.
